Luke and team use their expertise to produce a smarter, and cost effective product every time.  We stand by our work and welcome clients to call in any time to check progress or refer them to past customers to discuss our work with them directly.  At Tangaroa Marine we keep as much of the build in house and utilise all of our own equipment. We cut all our own sheet on our CNC router and  we have our own 100 tonne press brake and various other machinery to enable us to make just about anything.

Since 2012, TCC Ltd has operated from its marine facility at Port Picton, located beneath Kaipupu Point. TCC Boats, a division of TCC Ltd, has established a strong reputation for quality marine engineering, vessel construction, and specialist fabrication.

TCC Boats specialises in the design support, construction, refit, and modification of 10–35 metre aluminium vessels, delivering robust, high-performance solutions for commercial and private marine operators. Vessels have been built for clients throughout New Zealand and the Pacific, with a portfolio that includes Marlborough Sounds commuter vessels, aluminium power catamarans, workboats, barges, and floating dry-berth pontoons.

Supported by two large-capacity slipways, extensive undercover workshop space, and experienced marine tradespeople, TCC Boats provides comprehensive ship repair, maintenance, and custom vessel build services from concept through to completion.

Elite Boat Builders & Refinishing Ltd are specialists in marine painting and boat repairs. Elite’s fully compliant spray booth workshop is located right in the heart of the Waikawa Marina hardstand, Picton.

Vaughan & Sarah Hall are hands-on owners and manage the business alongside their manager Jock Clark. They all share backgrounds in commercial and recreational boating so have a great understanding of what clients and their boats require to have more enjoyable boating experiences.

Vaughan started in the automotive industry and made the change to the marine industry over 15 years ago but has been involved with boats and boating his whole life. He and his team of professional tradesmen strive for excellence and their attention to detail is well known.

Jackson Industries – Advanced Engineering

Jackson Advanced Engineering are specialists in large format precision machining, composites, and polymers and are a leading supplier of tools and products across a large array of industries, including marine, aerospace, television & film, construction, engineering, automotive, art & architecture, and general composites.

Jackson Advanced Engineering boasts one of the largest 5-axis CNC routers in New Zealand with a total machinable area of 10.5m x 3.8m x 2.4m. Large scale items such as trailer boat hulls & decks, rowing skiffs, superyacht booms & spreaders where pinpoint accuracy is critical to the performance and safety of the finished product.

Being capable of machining these large items as single pieces rather than broken down into smaller pieces or multiple machine setups allows Jackson’s to provide efficiency, affordability and accuracy superior to traditional CNC machining methods utilising smaller machines.
